Bertram Meyer Chief Executive OfficerBefore joining Taulia, Bertram held positions as Director at Railteam, Europe's high-speed rail alliance, and Managing Director at RailLink, Railteam's IT subsidiary. Prior to that, Bertram acted as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Ebydos, the SAP® solution provider widely known for its Invoice Cockpit solution that was sold to ReadSoft in 2006. Earlier, Bertram worked for 5 years as Top Management Consultant for the Boston Consulting Group. At Taulia, Bertram's responsibilities include marketing, sales, business development and partner management. |

Markus Ament Chief Product OfficerMarkus Ament, or Maex as he is known, serves as Chief Product Officer for Taulia where his responsibilities include overseeing products, solutions and professional services. He is a founding member of the company. Before helping to create Taulia, Maex was a founding member of Ebydos, where he was instrumental in the conception and development of the Invoice Cockpit and Web Cycle solutions. Ebydos grew to be used by over 650 companies, including many Fortune 500, and Maex and his partners successfully sold the company to ReadSoft in 2006. Maex joined ReadSoft as chief technology officer and board member at ReadSoft US, as well as board member at ReadSoft's SAP Labs. While there, Maex was responsible for global project rollouts including Kellogg's, Sony, DuPont, Lockheed Martin and Siemens. Maex helped to grow revenue by more than 70% at ReadSoft US, making it the largest subsidiary of ReadSoft. Maex also served as an angel investor and advisor in BayBrain/Snappr, a mobile start up company. He began his career working for SAP, where he developed and deployed payment and banking solutions in the SAP Financials area. While Maex considers his work his biggest hobby, in his spare time he enjoys being with his family, traveling, snowboarding and scuba diving. |

Philip Stehlik Chief Technology OfficerAs Chief Technology Officer, Philip Stehlik's responsibilities include managing Taulia's platform technology, interfacing with external systems and the SAP solutions and overseeing security and performance management. Philip is a founding member of Taulia. Prior to becoming Taulia's CTO, Philip founded, managed and sold Baybrain Inc., a provider of web and mobile solutions. Before that, he acted as senior developer and implementation project lead at ReadSoft US. Philip implemented ReadSoft solutions at companies like Apple and Boehringer Ingelheim. He began his career at Ebydos, where he was responsible for major implementations at companies like John Deere, REHAU and Schneider Electric. Philip started his first company in 2007 and remains active in the entrepreneur community, advising other start ups on a wide range of technologies. When he's not working he enjoys snowboarding and spending time with his wife, renovating their old Victorian home. |

Martin Quensel Managing Director, EuropeAs Managing Director for Taulia, Martin Quensel oversees the company's activities in Europe. He has a special focus on projects and delivery with a footprint in product and development. As a co-founder of Taulia, Martin helped to develop the initial versions of Taulia's solution and assisted in making it market ready and SAP-certified. Prior to joining Taulia, Martin served as chief technology officer at ReadSoft's Lab for Solutions where he launched ReadSoft's new solution, Process Director. Before that he served as board member and head of development at Ebydos. Martin has a proven track record of successful product innovations and developments in the SAP space, including product implementations and rollouts worldwide. Martin started his career as a developer for SAP Financials in 1997. Following this he was a software architect for solutions in SAP's eCommerce and eMarkets offerings, later included in the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solution of SAP. In his spare time, Martin enjoys spending time with his two children, friends and family. |

Jonathan Lowenhar Chief Operating OfficerAs Chief Operating Officer, Jonathan oversees Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Talent for Taulia. His role is to help chart both the strategic and tactical course for the company and optimize the use of available resources as Taulia matures from a rapidly growing technology company to a global power. Jonathan's expertise is the efficient use and analysis of business data. Over the last 16 years Jonathan successfully grew a $1B business segment for a large public company, turned around a distressed $100M revenue business and launched a venture-backed analytics startup. Over his career, Jonathan held escalating marketing and operations positions first across the casino industry in Las Vegas, NV and more recently in the San Francisco Bay Area technology sector. Among his roles, he served as the first Corporate Vice President of Loyalty Marketing for Harrah's Entertainment, as the Chief Operating Officer for Black Gaming, and as the Co-founder and CEO of a venture-backed start-up named Trooval. Jonathan earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his MBA via a joint program between Columbia Business School and the Haas School of Business at Berkeley. |

Matt Wright Vice President of Client ServicesAs Vice President of Client Services, Matt is responsible for the company's professional services and technical support teams. In his role, Matt oversees a group of project managers, technical and SAP consultants responsible for implementing and delivering the Taulia solution to clients. In addition he manages Taulia's global support organization for buyers and suppliers around the world. Matt and his team focus on providing an efficient and time-sensitive implementation process, something unique to traditional SAP projects, as well as consistent support. Matt brings to Taulia a career history in professional services. Prior to joining the company, he worked with OB10 as a program manager where he was responsible for implementing global e-invoicing projects for large multi-national US based customers. As one of the early members of the US service delivery team at OB10, Matt had a hand in developing and tuning the processes used to deliver the technology and bring suppliers on board. Prior to OB10, Matt worked with WebMD Business Services as a senior solutions analyst, and for EMC Capitva Software as business development manager for health insurance solutions. Matt received his bachelor of science from the University of Vermont. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, mountain biking and playing golf. |

Ian Sweeney Vice President of ProductAs Vice President of Product at Taulia, Ian Sweeney's role is to oversee the direction of Taulia's portfolio of products. Ian joined the Taulia team when the company acquired billFLO in June 2011. Ian founded billFLO in April 2008 to provide a web-based, cash flow management system that gives small businesses a real-time, dashboard view of their finances. Prior to creating billFLO Ian launched over 50 different products, from telecom equipment to racing cars. He founded Sistech, a business that imported race cars and distributed them in the US. He also spent time in Sydney, Australia, where he launched products for B&D Australia, and in his native Ireland he launched a line of automotive security devices for Kosran. Most recently, Ian held several positions with Dolby Laboratories where he led large, functionally diverse teams and helped launch Dolby's Entertainment Technologies. He also served as Dolby's Senior Manager of IP & Licensing responsible for the operations of their $400m licensing programs. Before joining Dolby, Ian held various roles in Lucent Technologies in both Ireland and the US. Ian holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University College Dublin and a graduate diploma in Advanced Computing from Dublin Institute of Technology. He received his MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. |

Joe Hyland Vice President of MarketingAs Vice President of Marketing Joe Hyland is responsible for driving the global, integrated marketing strategy for Taulia. Joe has over a decade of experience creating and marketing innovative products in the Enterprise and SaaS software markets. Before joining Taulia, Joe led marketing strategy and execution for the Workforce Productivity products at Kronos Incorporated. Joe was instrumental in doubling product-line revenue after significantly reshaping corporate messaging and go-to-market strategy. Prior to his time at Kronos, Joe worked at Bottomline Technologies running the company's marketing for its electronic invoicing and payments SaaS offering. Joe earned a bachelor's degree in government from Dartmouth College and remains active within the entrepreneurial community, serving an advisory role on strategy and positioning for many start-ups. An east-coast transplant, Joe now lives in the bay area and can be found hiking or running with his giant, lovable labradoodle Zealand by his side. |

Tony Frey Vice President of SalesAs Vice President of Sales, Tony Frey is responsible for the strategy and management of Taulia’s global sales organization. Tony has over 15 years of sales and executive management experience in the application and systems software industry where he has made significant contributions to high-growth startups as well as large, established organizations. Prior to Taulia, Tony was Vice President of North American Sales at Monitise Inc., a leading provider of mobile financial services solutions. Tony was also Vice President of Americas Sales at Clairmail, a mobile banking solution provider. He has also led sales teams at Progress Software, IONA Technologies, Grand Central Communications, Kabira Technologies, NEON and Compuware Corp. Tony has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from The University of California at Berkeley where he was a member of the NCAA Collegiate Baseball Team. Tony, his wife and two daughters live in the Bay Area. In his free time you will find Tony snowboarding in Lake Tahoe, running the hills of Marin Country and exploring the outdoors as a family. |
